The Flight experience required for the C.P.L. or Instrument Rating is as follows:
THE INSTRUMENT FLIGHT TEST
The Instrument Rating test must be conducted by a Grade 1 Designated Examiner (DE).
Together with the Practical Flight test, the DE will discuss various aspects of being an instrument rated Pilot and in addition will ask you a few questions relating to Instrument flying and Procedures.

Duration of the training course
Once the examinations have been passed the Instrument Rating practical course can be completed between 21 to 30 days.
